Masks are the Powerhouse tool in skin care.
Masks are considered the greatest tool in skin care.
1. Help increase hydration: Usually left on anywhere from 15 minutes to over night, giving the mask time to penetrate deep into the skin adding moisture and enhancing elasticity. Moisture and hydration give your skin a plump youthful glow. Having subtle skin also makes make-up look more even, eye less puffy, wrinkles and fine lines less noticeable.
2. Pores: A mask deeply penetrates the pores and once removed it can take the dead skin cells, sebum and environmental toxins with it! Environmental toxins are un-avoidable especially in big cities. Smog, pollution from cars, stores, heat, perfumes, pesticides in the wind, your skin is constantly plagued with toxins. It's VERY important to use a rich antioxidant skin care regime to help neutralize free radicals on your skin.
3. Firmer Skin: As we age our skin loses elasticity making our faces look like they are "dropping". Loose skin can be easily helped or solved by using masks regularly. Certain masks add collagen or help enhance collagen production, that coupled with hydration and fighting free radicals will give your skin a firmer appearance. There are also masks to address pigmentation and discolouration leaving your skin with and even tone and texture.
